We will give away a gift card to some one that wins a game associated with our teams weekly agenda. One of our biggest teams is the worship team, so we may quiz them on something like, What are the words to the third line of the second verse? . 2. Celebrate team member birthdays together. This is simple and really works when you meet frequently with a medium sized team (12-15 people). It's not only gives your team a break from the grind of the tasks we lead, but it offers a great time to say to one another we are glad you are here. Reply</a>

August 17, 2011 at 3:06 pm</a>You see, that's the difference beweetn volunteering and ministry. Serving Christ is never based on fun or reward here. Until those who work in the church are in love with Jesus Himself, then we can expect them to drop out as soon as it becomes too much. Until they realize now is the opportunity to serve Christ and that the godly suffer for His name, it will always be a human approach. In Rev 2:4 ASV tells us that Christ is to our first love (first not in time, but i importance or quality) and our love is not to be in what we do for Him. What we do for Him (however boring it may become) will only ever be meaningful when He has captured our hearts and minds. The reward is not to be here, but from Him when He returns. My Sunday School teacher taught for 50 years without a break. She had the joy of Christ and never looked for the fun value of her tireless efforts; and she communicated His love to her students. That comes from sitting at His feet. That's the difference beweetn Mary and Martha. Marthas wear out, Mary's don't. Reply</a>
