I think Dr. Goble should clarify his closing sentence: "... that could pose serious challenges for the United States in particular and the West more generally, especially if most commentators in the West assume that what he is saying is not only absurd but completely impossible. " Is Dr. Goble stating that this Russian world view and proposed course of action, needs to be taken seriously even though it IS absurd and impossible? Or is he saying it would be a mistake for us to think it absurd and impossible?

The vanity of Russian Eswtablishment wishes .. or everybody knows that the Russian establishment has no clothes and its grotesque moral deformites are on public view for the entire world to see ... hardly an example to inspire and emulate.. rather an object of shame and ridicule ...
